
Coach Craig Schroeder is in his second year at Commonwealth Soccer Club and currently holds both a USSF “D”
License and an NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma. He is currently the coach of the 96 Boys Gold team and has
spent one season coaching the 95 Boys Blue team.
From 2006-2008, Craig was an Assistant Head Coach at Tates Creek High School, with the Commodores appearing
in the Regional Championship each season during his tenure. Prior to this, Craig was the Head Coach at Pulaski
County High School where he accumulated a 24-27-5 record and his team made one Regional Appearance and was
awarded the NSCAA Academic Award in 2005. He also holds Goalkeeper Level 1 and 2 certificates from the
NSCAA.
Coach Schroeder played soccer at Somerset High School and graduated from Centre College in 2002 with dual
degrees in Mathematics and Physics and was also a three year letterman in baseball. Coach Schroeder received his Doctor of Philosophy in Education Sciences at the University of Kentucky in 2007 after receiving his Master's Degree in 2004. He is currently a science and math teacher at Jessie Clark Middle School in Fayette County.
