CSC Middle Schoolers Win Iron Man Soccer Tournament
Congratulations to LexCity Blues, a team consisting of CSC sixth and seventh graders, for winning first place at the Iron Man Soccer Tournament at Kentucky Indoor.  The team was also recognized in an arcticle in the Lexington Herrald Leader!

CSC Players Involved In The Community
Several players from the CSC 01 Girls Gold team and one player from the CSC 00 Boys Gold team got
together this winter break and teamed up with Giving Bear Hugs, a foundation started in April 2011 by
CSC coach Garrett Stark and his father after the passing of his mother. On Tuesday, December 20th,
the players visited The Galilean Home which is located in Liberty, Kentucky. The Galilean Home is a
non-profit organization that cares for children from all over the world who have been abused,
neglected, rejected, are in need of medical treatment, or are placed their for a Christian education. 

CSC Players Make the Kentucky Olympic Development Pool
Congratulations to all of the U11 - U12 Commonwealth SC players who worked hard to earn a spot in the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association Olympic Development Program (ODP) pool.  The Olympic Development Program is a national program to identify and develop youth players to represent their state, region, and country in soccer competitions.

CSC would like to congratulate the following club coaches and teams for their success in KSSL this fall:

01 Girls Gold Team Completes an Exceptional Season
Congratulations to the CSC Girls Gold team coached by Garrett Stark and assisted by Daniel Pifer for
successfully completing an Undefeated Fall Season!! The team won the KSSL U11 Girls Premier
Division, as well as winning both of their tournaments. The team finished the fall season with an
overall record of 20-0-3. They scored an impressive 106 goals while only allowing 17 with a +89 goal
differential!


Fields Are Closed Until Spring
Weather permitting, LCA fields will be open for practice during the first week of March.  Additional details will be announced soon.

Club Highlights!
The Fall has already provided us with some terrific soccer and strong tournament finishes.  We hope that, as the season winds down, our teams stay healthy and continue to excel in their soccer development.

Practice for the CSC Spring season will officially begin on Monday, February 19.  Teams are encouraged to find alternate practice locations until LCA fields become available.
